The lubricating oil station has become the key equipment for the lubrication of the main shaft bearing of the ball mill in the mineral processing plant. Effect of oil temperature on lubricating oil quality

 

 

The lubrication system has strict requirements on the temperature of the oil. If the temperature exceeds the range of 25-35°C, it will have adverse effects on the equipment and the oil itself.


(1) When the oil temperature exceeds 35°C, the viscosity of the oil will drop significantly first, the oil film at the sliding part will be destroyed, the friction resistance will increase, and the wear will increase, which will cause damage to the mill bearing; if the oil temperature is too high, It will also cause the gap between the motion pairs of different materials to change, the gap will become larger, the leakage will increase, the efficiency of the pump and the whole system will drop significantly, the action will not work or get stuck, and equipment accidents will occur; The oxidation of the oil is intensified, the service life of the oil is reduced, and with the production of colloidal substances, it is easy to block the control holes of the components, so that the components cannot work normally. The water-based hydraulic fluid will also cause a large amount of water loss and increase the viscosity. Cause sensitive components out of control, resulting in equipment accidents.


(2) If the oil temperature is lower than 25°C, the viscosity of the oil will double, making it difficult for the pump to absorb oil, causing cavitation hazards, significantly increasing the noise of the pump, accelerating the damage of components, and causing low-temperature and high-viscosity oil to flow through joints. When the flow element is used, the characteristics of the element will change, resulting in unstable pressure and speed adjustment, resulting in oil leakage from the mill bearing, and causing the mill to grind the tiles.
