How do we reduce lubrication equipment failures
1. Rail
In order to lubricate the guide rail well, ensure the machining accuracy of the guide rail and the contact area of the static guide rail, correctly select the shape and size of the lubrication groove, consider the load, movement speed, rail placement method, etc., and properly place the applicable rail oil.
2. Gear
Ordinary gears are characterized by high contact stress and low speed, and it is difficult to form a fluid lubricating film in the meshing area. The lubrication state of the tooth side is mainly boundary lubrication and mixed lubrication, and the surface damage is mainly adhesive wear, fatigue pitting and abrasive wear.
In terms of ensuring lubrication, the lubrication equipment manufacturer said that it mainly depends on the adsorption film and reaction film formed on the tooth side. The adsorption film can reduce the friction coefficient and friction force, and the reaction film can prevent adhesion. The adsorption film and reaction film mainly depend on deep refining. Base oil and quality, appropriate amount of extreme pressure, grinding additives.
3. Rolling bearings
The correct choice of bearing type and model, consider the direction of the bearing, load characteristics and working mode during installation, and select the appropriate degree of lubricating oil to ensure the oil quality and flow of the lubricating oil, and remove mechanical impurities in the lubricating oil, according to the work Depending on the environment, the types of lubricating oils used in rolling bearings are different. The working temperature is between 50~100°C. Molybdenum disulfide lithium base grease is used.
4. Sealing device
In the contact seal, the sealing device should be kept stable, the contact friction surface forms an oil film, and the oil film is used to lubricate and seal. The micro-damage and deformation of the sealing friction surface directly affect the formation and stability of the oil film, and oil leakage causes damage and failure of the mechanism. When applying the sealing device, the characteristics of the lubricating oil, pressure, temperature, sliding speed, sealing material and suitable expansion and contraction of the lubricating oil should be fully considered.
5. Liquid level of lubricating oil
Under normal circumstances, it should be kept between the upper and lower lines of the oil mark, but it should not be too small. If it is too small, some gears and bearings will not be in contact with the lubricating oil, forming an oil film and causing dry friction. It should not be too large, otherwise the gears, bearings and other moving parts Increase the running resistance, increase the power consumption, the lubricating oil heats up due to continuous stirring, the normal lubrication state of the friction surface is damaged, and the equipment wear is intensified.
